Product Showcase: Outside Micrometer Set 0-150mm

If you’ve read any of our other blogs, you’ll know that we are big fans of product sets. I mean, who doesn’t love having everything they need confined into a neat package. On this week’s Product Showcase, we’ll be taking a look at one of INSIZE’s Micrometer Mets, the 0-150mm Set (Product code 3203-1506A) which includes 6 Micrometers.

Each Micrometer in this set is an Outside Micrometer, which are designed for measuring the thickness or outside diameter of small parts or objects. They also use a Rachet Stop, as opposed to the a Friction Thimble (A small amount of INSIZE Micrometers use a Friction Thimble). The inclusion of a Ratchet Stop means that the user will feel more feedback when taking measurements, allowing for a more uniform measuring pressure. This will ensure you can get the most precise measurement and that others can do it to.

You've also got measuring faces that use Carbide meaning they'll last longer and keep their indentations readable. I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate when my tools' measuring faces get damaged.

Additionally, the Micrometers 3203-50A to 3203-150A include setting standards so you can ensure that the Micrometer is set to zero.

While we do have some great Digital Outside Micrometers for sale at our store, none of these products come in sets like this one, so it’s difficult to pass up on the value.
