The 60° Vertical Partial Profile External Thread Turning Insert is engineered for external threading applications that require a 60° vertical partial profile across a range of medium thread pitches. Supporting thread pitches from 3.5 mm to 5.0 mm (7–5 TPI), this insert allows for flexible multi-pitch threading using a single tool which is ideal for general-purpose, maintenance, and small-batch production environments.
Crafted from high-performance BLU-grade carbide, the insert ensures exceptional wear resistance, thermal stability, and edge durability. With a compact 22 mm length and 1/2" I.C., and optimized X, Y, and T dimensions of 1.2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 4.8 mm respectively, it delivers reliable cutting performance and efficient chip control during demanding operations.
