The 22V ER N55 BMA is a high-performance external thread turning insert engineered for vertical partial profile threading at a 55° angle. Supporting thread pitches from 3.5 mm to 5.0 mm (7–5 TPI), this insert is ideal for general-purpose threading where flexibility and high precision are required across multiple thread forms within the 55° standard.
Made from BMA-grade carbide, the insert ensures excellent resistance to wear, heat, and edge degradation during extended machining runs. The insert features a 22 mm length and 1/2" I.C., with precision-ground geometry including X, Y, and T dimensions of 1.2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 4.8 mm respectively, enabling clean thread profiles and efficient chip evacuation during cutting.
