The 16V ER AG60 BLU is a compact and versatile external thread turning insert designed for vertical threading applications with a 60° partial profile. Covering a broad pitch range from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm (48–8 TPI), it enables multi-pitch threading with a single insert, making it ideal for general-purpose, maintenance, and low-to-medium volume production tasks.
Constructed from high-performance BLU-grade carbide, the insert provides excellent wear resistance, thermal stability, and edge retention. With a 16 mm length and 3/8" I.C., along with X = 1.0 mm, Y = 1.8 mm, and T = 3.6 mm, it delivers clean cutting performance, controlled chip evacuation, and consistent thread geometry across a wide range of thread sizes.
