The 40 I 5.5 ISO MT7 Mill-Thread Insert is engineered for internal threading of ISO metric profiles on CNC milling machines using helical interpolation. Designed for a coarse 5.5 mm pitch, this insert is ideal for producing strong, wide threads in heavy-duty or large-diameter components. With a size 40 body, 20 mm height, and 6.3 mm thickness, it ensures excellent rigidity, chip evacuation, and thread form accuracy during high-load cutting conditions.
Made from Carmex’s advanced MT7 carbide grade, the insert provides excellent wear resistance, heat tolerance, and extended tool life across production applications.
