The Partial Profile Internal Thread Turning Insert is tailored for versatile threading across a wide pitch range of 48 to 16 TPI with a 55° profile. This insert does not form the full thread crest, offering flexibility to machine multiple thread pitches while maintaining thread flank precision ideal for general-purpose internal threading applications across various materials.
Crafted from high-performance P25C-grade carbide, the insert ensures excellent wear resistance, thermal stability, and edge durability. With optimized geometry X at 0.8 mm and Y at 0.9 mm it delivers accurate thread flanks, smooth cutting action, and reliable chip evacuation for consistent thread quality over a wide pitch range (0.5–1.5 mm).
