Product Showcase: Waterproof Digital Caliper 0-150mm
While we have already looked at a 0-150mm Digital Caliper, there is always room for another dive into this length. Especially when it involves a caliper that is coolant proof!
On this weeks Product Showcase we'll be looking at the 0-150mm Waterproof Digital Caliper (INSIZE 1118-150B). Now the 1118-150B shares many of the same features of the 1108-150, which is still a superb choice of Digital Caliper if you are not likely to drop it into water. However, the 1118-150B has one very interesting difference and it might surprise you (If you haven't read the title of this article...)
That very interesting difference is that separates the 1118-150B from the 1108-150 is the inclusion of the IP67 rating (i.e. Waterproofing). Now what exactly does the Ingress Protection (IP) rating of 67 mean? Unfortunately, we don't know...

So long story short, the 1118-150B is totally protected against dust and is protected against total immersion in water in depths up to 1m for 30 minutes. Sounds pretty fantastic to us. We love to go swimming with our Calipers all year round and now we can do so without worry.
